Tony was born October 5, 1932 in Bukin, Yugoslavia and peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, January 25th, 2026.

Tony and his family came to America from Austria in 1952, via Ellis Island and they continued their journey to Colorado where they settled.

Tony joined the US Army in 1955 and served in the Korean war, and upon returning home he became a US citizen. It was during this time he met his wife, Helga and they married in October 1961.

Tony decided he wanted to begin a career in the steel industry, and after working for a few employers over the years, he started his own business. He then purchased a steel fabricating company, made it his own, along with his late brother, and was very successful and truly enjoyed his work.

When Tony retired, he spent much of his time gardening, he loved his tomatoes, going to the lake, camping and spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.

Tony is survived by his wife, Helga; daughter Linda, son Tony (Carrie); grandsons, Colby (Danielle) and Garrett (Hayden); step granddaughters, Payton (Dakota) and Megan (Vic & baby Evelyn); siblings, sister Kathy, brother Joe (Mary), brother Franz (Sara); preceded in death by parents Johan and Barbara; sister, Elizabeth and brother John (Sandi).   Tony also leaves behind many other relatives and friends who were dear to him.

Pete, Eileen, Steff and Annie Ross. Our hearts are full of gratitude for all the time, Love and caring you gave “Uncle Tony” the last few months while he was hospitalized.

Service will be held at Viegut Funeral home, 1616 N Lincoln Ave, Loveland, CO 80538, on February 16, 2026 at 11am.
