Nelma Jean Hundley quietly passed away on the morning of January 26, 2026, after years of illness. She was 87 years old.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the Aspen Mortuary, 1350 Simms St., Lakewood, Colorado Friday February 20th at 11:00AM.
Nelma was born on September 15, 1938, the oldest of three girls. She is survived by her sisters, Judy Miller and Mitzi Reed, and by her four children: David Aldridge, Larry Aldridge, Teresa Miller, and Steven Hundley. Nelma is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Along with the task of raising her children, she was a well-respected office manager within the Colorado State Department of Education.
Please do not send flowers. Instead, her family asks that you donate in her name to Nelma’s favorite organization, Humane Colorado.
