Lovingly we remember Carol,
Carol Chapin was called home to the Lord surrounded by love and faith on January 26, 2026. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Carol lived a life rooted in her deep faith and unwavering love for her family.
Carol was born on June 17, 1937 and grew up on a dairy farm in Toledo WA, raised her family in Kirkland WA and spent her last 20 years in Lacey WA. She was the beloved mother of Kristy, Scott, Kacy, Connie, and Karen, a proud grandmother to 11, and a joyful great-grandmother to 7. Her greatest happiness was time spent with her family, whether gathered together or held close in her prayers.
Carol found peace and purpose in her faith and expressed her creativity and patience through gardening, crocheting, and solving puzzles—activities she enjoyed throughout her life. She also had a fun and loyal spirit, cheering on her favorite teams, the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks, with enthusiasm.
Her life was one of quiet strength, kindness, and devotion. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and family that will continue through generations.
We commend her soul to God’s mercy and rejoice in the hope of the Resurrection. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
