November 9th, 1934 - January 28th, 2026
There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.

**Obituary for Nancy Broome Wooten** It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Broome Wooten, who departed this life on January 28, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on November 9, 1934, Nancy lived a life characterized by love, kindness, and the joy of nurturing her family and community. Nancy dedicated many years as a devoted Girl Scout leader, where her energetic and generous spirit inspired countless young individuals. Known for her remarkable skills in sewing and needlecraft, Nancy found joy in creating beautiful pieces, reflecting her creativity and passion. An avid reader, she delighted in immersing herself in science fiction and horror novels. Nancy is forever cherished by her loving daughter Jeanne Gering (and husband James), her daughter Michelle Hollis (and husband Morris), and her son Norman Wooten (and wife Carrie). She was predeceased by her beloved son, Terry Wooten. Her family extends beyond her children; she was also a proud grandmother of eight and a great-grandmother to eleven, who will continue to carry forth her legacy of love and generosity. A memorial service will be held at Ammen Funeral Home, located at 950 Malabar Road SE in Palm Bay, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
