On Friday, January 16th, 2026, my Dad made his way home into the arms of Jesus and is now reunited with my Mom. They are now that dynamic duo named “Fred and Chickie!” They say a picture is worth a thousand words but a thousand words can not even touch the stories I could tell about my Dad. This is his typical positive, glass half full, attitude at In-n-Out burger. He had just faced one of his many health crisis’ and said “Let’s celebrate on the way home with a burger!” 🍔 He has battled so many health challenges over the last couple of years but Parkinson’s took his ability to play golf and stay active. Our family decided that the disease wasn’t going to redefine him. His huge heart and love for his family was not limited by this disease. We celebrated with lots of family and friends every Holiday, Birthday, ball games, Anniversaries, Taco night, Golf Cart rides, etc. When we gathered together at Thanksgiving, he asked for a piece of paper. He wrote down the name of every person around his table. He told me it was a good day because 27 people had come to eat at his table and visit with him. He loved life, family, my mom, and anybody he met along his path. He never knew a stranger. He even developed a very deep love for my husband Bo as his caretaker. Who knew that these two would become close friends. For those of you who knew and loved him, his services will be held at: THRIVE CHURCH 2720 W 92nd Ave Federal Heights, CO 80260 Monday, February 2, 2026 10:00 viewing 11:00 Service Burial, Lafayette Cemetery at 1:30pm Reception after burial in the Community room Downstairs
