On January 30, 2026, Patricia J. Koenig, after 72 loving years with her family, was called home to be with the Lord. Pat was a woman of unwavering belief, whose love for the Lord shone through every aspect of her life. She found joy in prayer, strength in scripture, and peace in the promises of eternal life. She shared her faith through kindness, compassion, and an unyielding trust in God’s plan.

Above all, Pat was dedicated to her family and cherished every moment with her devoted husband of 52 years, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strong faith, having spent her life building a nurturing home for her family.

She found comfort in verses such as Isaiah 41:10-“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Pat is survived by her husband, Fred; her children, Jacob Koenig, Becky DeGarmo and husband Todd; grandchildren Elizabeth and Keira Koenig, London DeGarmo and his wife Lexi; great-grandchildren Elijah and Daniel DeGarmo; brothers Alan Cross and his husband Tom, Mike Cross and his wife Allison; nephews Donald Bradley, Eric Cross and his wife Mes; great nephews Tristan, Chase, Levi, and great-niece London; her furry companions Maggie and Lily; along with many close, dear friends. She is preceded in death by her dad and mom, Robert and Joyce Cross. In memory of Pat, the family welcomes donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
