She was a graduate of Gloversville High School class of 1951. Following graduation, she began working for GTE Telephone Company and worked there for over 35 years. Betty also enjoyed quiet moments, among her favorite pastimes were jigsaw puzzles and reading.

Houghteling; daughter in law Claudette; and dear friend Bill Blowers. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and in laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Betty's name may be made to the Jim Anadio Golf Scholarship Fund, C/O Mary VanWicklen 26 Catherine Street Amsterdam, NY 12010.
At this time, Betty's family has chosen to remember her life privately. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
