It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jesus Rivera, a cherished husband, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on October 3, 1947, in Pueblo, Colorado, Jesus lived a life marked by his love for family and his dedication to service. He left us peacefully on January 4, 2026, at his residence in Aurora, Colorado.

Jesus proudly served in the United States Army, where he developed a strong sense of duty and respect for others. This experience shaped him into a man of integrity and kindness, qualities that endeared him to many. Beyond his military service,

He is survived by his beloved wife, Darlene Cordova, along with several siblings, nieces, and nephews, who will carry forward his legacy of love and humor.

To honor Jesus's life, a Celebration of His Life will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to gather, starting at 12:00 PM, and Celebration Memorial Service at 1:00pm at Romero Funeral ~ Chapel of Repose, located at 15150 E Iliff Ave, Aurora, CO, for a memorial service that truly reflects the love and laughter he brought into our lives. Celebration of Life will follow at the Romero Reception Hall.

In his memory, we take comfort in knowing that his beautiful spirit will be missed but never forgotten. As his tombstone will remind us all, "In Loving Memory." Rest easy, Jesus. You’ve left a mark on our hearts that will remain forever.
