Jeremy Moore, 48
April 13th, 1977-January 31st, 2026
With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Jeremy Moore of Berthoud, who peacefully entered eternal rest on January 31st, 2026. A beloved son, devoted father, and lifelong outdoorsman, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Jeremy was born in Loveland to George (Tracy) Moore and Dorothy (Kenny) Meyer (Buehler). After graduating from Platte Valley High School in 1995, he worked at Chesnut Farms while always making time for the outdoors. Known for his steady hands, gentle humor, and love of nature, he lived a life guided by strong ethic, family, and the call of the wild.
In 2016, Jeremy purchased his first home in Greeley and lived there with his children and explored into various job opportunities. Wanting to contribute to a family business, in 2019, Jeremy moved to Glenwood to help manage, Kenny’s Overhead Doors which lead to purchasing the business in 2022.
On June 25th, 2024, Jeremy was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a terminal brain cancer. For the next 19 months he lived to the fullest next to his closest family and friends enjoying the things he loved in the outdoors, traveling and spending time on the family farms he cherished. Checking destinations off his bucket list, he thoroughly enjoyed visiting St. Thoams, St. John, Alaska, Hawaii, Cayman Islands, and visiting his brother in Missouri. Most of all, Jeremy poured his heart into teaching his children along side of his brother the quite joys of bow hunting and fishing, creating memories that will echo in their stories and hearts forever.
He is survived by his children: Morgan Craven, Shyloh Moore, Eaton Moore, and Sydney Moore; grandchildren: Weston and Langston Craven; siblings, Adam Moore (Savannah), Jarrod Moore (Maria), Petyon Moore, Karen Ruiz (Yuani), Suzanne Tappe (Ryan); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather and role model, Howard Buhler; his granny, Mary Chesnut; his grandmother, Alberta Moore; and his cousin, Chad Auldridge.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7th at 11am at Chesnut Farms (272775 County Road 52, Kersey, CO).
For those who wish, please bring a small memento or story to share about Jeremy at the memorial, there will be an opportunity for anyone to speak about their memories with Jeremy.
The next time a flock of geese flies overhead, think of Jeremy.
