Jeannette Sekurski,  94, of Albany, NY, formerly of Ocala, Florida and Rotterdam, NY passed away February 2, 2026 at The Teresian House in Albany, New York. She was born on December 6, 1931 in Cohoes, New York to Alfred and Laura Pelletier. 

Jeannette married the love of her life, Kazimierz Sekurski in 1959 at St. Joseph's Church in Cohoes, NY. In 1960, the happy couple welcomed their pride and joy, Sharon into the world. Kaz and Jeannette were established members of Rotterdam, NY before retiring to Ocala, Florida. Jeannette and Kaz loved to travel, they enjoyed cruises and adventured across the United States and Europe. The family spent many happy times together including many summers on Sacandaga Lake at Penn Heights Beach Club with friends and family. 

It was in true family spirit that Kaz, Jeannette and Sharon all joined in to open and operate the Family Hair Care Center for years with all three earning licenses in cosmetology. A full and rewarding career was followed by a well-deserved retirement in Ocala, Florida where Jeannette and Kaz made many new friends and enjoyed an active life style. 

Jeannette and Kaz both had a passion for bowling and were consistently awarded recognition for outstanding scores at their community lanes in Marion Landing. They both also enjoyed participating in senior games, stage performances, card games, and many other community activities. The couple enjoyed 22 joyful years at Marion Landings. 

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the wonderful team at Teresian House for the loving care they provided to Jeannette and her family. 

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
