William C Farmer died Feb. 4th, 2026, at the age of 93. He and his sister, the late Sarah F Givens (of Richmond) were the children of Harry and Carroll Farmer of Evington. William was predeceased by his wife, Bettie. They were married for 67 years and had two children, Mary Ann and Steve (wife Elizabeth) and two grandchildren, Ethan and Gavrielle. He was retired from APCO and served in the Army during the Korean war.
A visitation for friends and family will occur at Diuguid’s Funeral Home on Timberlake Road on Sunday, Feb. 8th from 3-5pm. A graveside service will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery, Tuesday, Feb 10th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross or the Evington Volunteer Fire Department.
