He lived a remarkable life, characterized by his unwavering devotion to God and enduring love for his family. George is survived by his cherished wife of 26 years, Brenda Rodriguez, and his loving children: Christopher, Cindy, Michael, and Jessica.

 

He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Jameson, Hunter, Marilyn, Matthew, and Samantha, as well as his great-grandchildren ZaiAnna, Dalanna, Christopher, Christina, and his great-great-grandchild Noelle. George was predeceased by his parents, Francisco Rodriguez and Rosa Castillo, and his son, Francisco Rodriguez.

 

A dedicated serviceman, George courageously served in the United States Army. Later, he lent his expertise as a computer specialist for the New York City Transit before retiring and moving to Florida, where he could enjoy the sunshine and the company of loved ones. George’s life was marked by his many interests, including his love for traveling, his unwavering support for his favorite sports teams—the New York Mets and the New York Jets—and his enjoyment of poker in Las Vegas. Known for his qualities of patience, honesty, strength, and his wonderful sense of humor, George touched the lives of many with his unconditional love.

 

 As we reflect on George Francisco Rodriguez's life and the legacy he leaves behind, we remember him not just for his achievements, but for the love and joy he spread among so many.

 

 In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation in his honor, as a tribute to a man who gave so much to those around him.
