Hubert Lee Sullivan, Jr (Bubba), 72, of Summerville, SC, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.   Bubba was born on July 22, 1953 in Charleston, SC to Hubert Lee Sullivan, Sr. and Katherine Wiggins Sullivan. 

He was a long-time member of Ferndale Baptist Church.  Bubba aka Porkchop worked at Westvaco paper mill for 43 years before retiring and was a member of Indian Field Hunting Club for over 50 years.  He was married to his beautiful wife Cynthia for a wonderful 51 years.  His family was everything to him and he loved them very much.  He was their rock and would always be there when he was needed.  

Throughout his life, Bubba was known for his instigating ways, sense of humor, and jokes.  He loved hunting with his daughter and son-in-law, watching the Washington Capitals with his son, and hanging with the grand and great-grandkids.  He also enjoyed fishing, camping, watching the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, and Clemson Tigers, lunches with his work friends, and picking on his sister.  

Bubba is survived by his wife Cynthia Paul Sullivan of Summerville, SC, daughter Ann Marie Drake (Daniel) of Summerville, SC, son Hubert Lee Sullivan III of Summerville, SC, grandson Robert Lee Drake of Summerville, SC, granddaughters Alexus Marie Minzey of Summerville, SC, Danyelle Emily Parris of Campobello, SC, sister Sandra Bradford of Summerville, SC, family friend Candis Hollowood of Summerville, SC, great-grandsons Lucas Minzey and Kevin Minzey of Summerville, SC. 

He was preceded in death by his father Hubert Lee Sullivan, Sr and mother Katherine Wiggins Sullivan.  

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Simplicity 281 Treeland Drive Ladson, SC 29456. 

A service will follow at 11:00 AM also at Simplicity.  The family requests friends and family to wear his favorite color purple or blue or support one of his favorite teams.
