Karen Abbey Eastwood Jacobs, 82, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Karen was born on September 17, 1943, in New York, New York, to Theodore and Edna Abbey. She grew up in New York and later made her home in Las Vegas, Nevada, before settling in Arvada, Colorado.

Karen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Jacobs; her children (and their spouses), Craig Rosenbaum (Rowena) and Laurie Hagen (Phil); and her cherished grandchildren, Matthew Rosenbaum and Emma Hagen, who brought her great joy and pride. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Edna Abbey, and her brothers, Ted Abbey and Charles Abbey.

A woman of deep Catholic faith, Karen lived with quiet generosity and compassion. She was known for giving to many causes and for the love she shared so freely with her family. Her greatest happiness came from her children and grandchildren, in whom she took immense pride.

She will be deeply missed.

Her kindness and generosity live on in those who knew her.
