Brian Keith Adkins II, age 44, passed away on February 6, 2026. Brian was born in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Martha A. Scarbro-Gustafson and Brian K. Adkins I.
Brian was known for his generous heart. He loved making people laugh, spending peaceful days fishing, cooking for those he loved, listening to music, and—most of all—being with his family. Brian brought joy wherever he went and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, even if it was the last thing he had. Those left to cherish his memory include his partner of 16 years, Jessica P. White; his children, Colleen L. Adkins, Tara Adkins, and Kassidy N. White; his brothers, Matthew (Monica) Adkins and Bristen Adkins; his sister, Tiffany Adkins; his stepfather, James Gustafson; and his stepmother, Julie Adkins. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Martha A. Scarbro-Gustafson; his father, Brian K. Adkins I; and his brother, Shane H. Adkins. In accordance with Brian’s wishes, no funeral or viewing will be held. He will be cremated alongside his loved ones who have passed before him, to be cherished and held close by all who loved him.Donations
