Charlotte Perry Bradbury, 96, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, passed away on February 5, 2026. Born in Denver, Colorado, Charlotte was raised in Minturn and Edgewater, places that shaped her lifelong love of family, community, and fun. She lived all of her life in Colorado, surrounded by people she loved and activities that brought her joy.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Clarence Jr., and her beloved husband, Donald, to whom she was happily married for more than 50 years until his passing in 2000. She is survived by her children, Kirk, Debi, and Teri (Karen); her grandchildren, Chris (Rick), Becki (Jeremy), Brenda (Aaron), Tiffany (Lonnie) and Donald (Marcella); and her treasured great-grandchildren: Connor and Corben (Chris), Onyx, Ayla, and Bella (Becki), Aiden and Ryanne (Brenda), Damian and Devin (Tiffany), and Jacob, Kailyn, Samuel, and Luke (Donald). Her family was the center of her world, and gatherings were often filled with laughter, spirited competition, and wild and crazy games that she delighted in.
A devoted homemaker, Charlotte also worked alongside her father, the City Clerk of Edgewater, and held administrative positions at Lakewood Elks and Weyerhaeuser Lumber Company. She was also a bowling coach at Trade Winds Bowl in Edgewater in addition to being a volunteer with the Edgewater Fire Department women support team. Charlotte was quick-witted, funny, and always ready for a good time. She loved games of all kinds—especially cards—and belonged to several bridge clubs throughout her life. She also enjoyed bowling, dancing, traveling, and celebrating life with family and friends. Charlotte and Donald loved to travel and party, creating cherished memories.
A service will be held on February 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Aspen Mortuary, 1350 Simms St., Lakewood, Colorado, followed by a procession to Fort Logan Cemetery. A reception will be held afterward.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlotte’s memory to a charity of your choice.
