Cynthia Kelly, 75, died February 4, 2026, with her sisters by her side in Goodyear, Arizona. A small Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Legacy Funeral Home in Chandler, Arizona. Cynthia was born February 2nd, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to Warren Senior and Evelyn Kelly, where she was raised with her five siblings.
Cynthia’s life was filled with experiences, from working as a summer camp counselor in Wisconsin, to working for the Chicago Stock Exchange as a runner. She attended college at the University of Minnesota, experienced life in Dallas, Texas, traveled often with her sister Sandra, and eventually settled down in Madison, Wisconsin where she raised her only daughter.
Her interests included family, traveling, fashion, celebrity gossip and global politics. She was a Renaissance Woman, well known for her “champagne tastes,” including excellent design, clothing, and accessory choices. Cynthia had an eye for life’s beautiful things, and with a colorful personality to complement her interests, she was an enjoyable individual to be around. She devoted much of her time and energy as a babysitter for her only grandson, and was very much welcome and involved in his and her daughter’s lives.
Ms. Kelly is survived by her daughter, Lauren Lederer (née Helletewark), her grandson Zaiden, her siblings; Warren Jr., Sandra, Jacqueline and Marcia, and her nieces and nephews, Carl, Brian, Kristin, Kimberly, Lisa and Jason Jr.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Warren Sr. and Evelyn and youngest brother Kevin.
Cynthia was loved dearly and will be missed infinitely…
