Bonnie Leigh Booher, 96, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Indian Path Medical Center. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother that will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dexter and Frances Smith Phipps; stepmother, Ida L. Phipps; her husband, Herbert Fred Booher; brothers, Charles Thomas Phipps (Mary Lee), Clyde Phipps (Pauline), DD Phipps (Mary Lynn); sisters; Helen Marley (Howard) and Bessie Brewer (Herman) and her granddaughter, Samantha Booher.

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Anthony Louis Booher and Daniel Joseph Booher (Cindy); grandchildren, Samuel Booher, Joshua Booher, Tiffany Thompson (David), Angela Booher, Bridgett Williams, Andy Miller; great-grandchildren, Alex and Elizabeth Booher, Matthew and Hunter Thompson, Adaline Williams; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5 pm until 7 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. A funeral will follow at 7 pm with Pastor Bob Underwood officiating. To attend services virtually please click here.

A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Paperville Cemetery in Bristol, Tennessee. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 pm.

In lieu, of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to Johnson University of Knoxville, Tennessee.
