Cache J. Gluch Feb. 7, 1991 - Feb. 11, 2026
Cache Johann Gluch courageously surrendered his battle with Leukemia to become a warrior with Christ on February 11, 2026. He deeply loved his wife Michelle (Mimi) Kameshige Gluch, and his daughters Zoey (Bear) and Chloe (Little Roo). They were the reason he fought so valiantly for each and every remaining moment he had on this earth.
Cache was the son of Allynn Gray of Salmon, Idaho, and Tim (Mari) Gluch of New Plymouth, Idaho, and son-in-law to Jayne and Randy Kameshige of Ontario, Oregon. He grew up with four siblings; his two sisters Alysa Gluch, and Taralynn (Jordan) Starr, and two brothers Austin Gluch and Anthony Gluch. Later in life his brother Isaac Gluch joined the family, followed by his sister Victoria Gluch. He is adored by many nieces and nephews; Ethan, Raelynn, Adeline, Emery (Tuk Tuk), Luke, Oliver, Maci, Thomas, Kenzie and Benjamin, and he treasured every opportunity to play with them, roughhouse, fish, and tease them.
Christ was the center of Cache’s life. He had a deep desire to spread the word of God and His love for us. He would talk to anyone about his love for Christ, share his testimony and it was not unusual for Cache to pray with strangers he just met. People were drawn to his light and incredible spirit, which led to many inspirational conversations with strangers, friends, coworkers, and family members. His faith and love for his Savior was strong and never wavered even in the face of his illness and terminal diagnosis.
From the time Cache was born he had an adventurous spirit and desire to live life to the fullest. He loved traveling to places like England, France, and Italy with his wife Mimi. Alaska, however, was the one place that captured his heart. Its wild beauty matched his own adventurous soul, and it became the place he cherished and loved deeply.
Above all, the things that Cache wanted to be remembered for were his love for Christ, his love and devotion to his family, and his love for the many people God placed in his life that inspired him, loved him, and helped raise and mentor him. He was full of gratitude for his blessed life, and for the companies he built (STL Services Idaho and Simple Mountain Homes), which both allowed him to touch people’s lives by building things that people loved, and brought them joy. You rarely saw Cache without a smile…. And that smile warmed your heart. We will miss your smile, but its memory and warmth will be with us forever.
“let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven.” Matthew 5: 16

Lienkaemper Funeral Chapel-Ontario
For over 100 years, the Lienkaemper Funeral Chapel has served the Ontario, Oregon, community with professional, compassionate care. Our story begins in 1907 when the Peterson family, who owned a furniture store in Ontario, helped with funeral arrangements and sold caskets from the store’s basement. Over the years, the business has grown and had a number of owners, partnerships and names. Among them was our current namesake, the Lienkaemper family, who purchased the family funeral home with the mission of helping families in the Ontario community. ...
