Tracy Jean Gallison Meadows July 17, 1966 – February 11, 2026With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tracy Jean Gallison Meadows, who lost her life on February 11, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with liver cancer. Born on July 17, 1966, in Barre, Vermont, Tracy was the beloved daughter of Gloria Dalton Conley and James H. Gallison Sr. She attended Union 32 High School in East Montpelier, Vermont, and carried her Vermont roots proudly throughout her life. Tracy was gorgeous, smart, talented, strong, and resilient — truly full of life. Her strength during her illness reflected the same courage and determination she showed every day. She worked many jobs throughout her lifetime, including as an electrician’s assistant, and became a favorite and deeply loved bartender at the Moncks Corner VFW. Tracy had a way of making everyone feel welcome, seen, and cared for. She found peace and joy in deep sea fishing, loving the freedom of the open water. Above all else, Tracy cherished her family. She was a devoted mother of four children and a proud grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life — her greatest pride and her happiest moments. She is survived by her loving partner of 17 years, Thomas Googe; her daughter, Coco Rose Griffen and partner Fidel, and their children, Mackinzie E.-R. Griffen and Johnathan Avery-Lee Griffen; her son, Lawrence Albert Griffen III and his wife Retha M. Griffen, and their children, Elizabeth Grace Clark and Odin James Griffen; And her granddaughter Hayliegh Elizabeth Morgan. She is also survived by her mother, Gloria Dalton Conley, and stepfather Carl Lee Conley; her brothers James Henry Gallison and wife Denise, Dean Roy Gallison and wife Tina, Bert Steven Gallison and wife Deanna; her stepbrother James Lee Conley and wife Nancy; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Tracy was preceded in death by her father, James H. Gallison Sr.; her daughter, Jennifer Rae Papineau; and her son, Kenneth James Papineau. A private family cremation will take place in North Charleston at the family’s discretion. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Middlesex, Vermont. Tracy’s love, laughter, strength, and vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though her time here was far too short, the impact she made will last forever.
