Rose Glen (Wilson) passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by love. She was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Patricia (Duffy) and Clarence Wilson, the fourth of seven children.

Rose spent her early years growing up in Montana before her family relocated to Washington when her father accepted a job in Tacoma. Those formative years shaped the resilient, compassionate woman she would become—grounded, hardworking, and deeply devoted to family.

Her life’s greatest calling was motherhood. Rose dedicated herself wholeheartedly to raising her six children, including one with special needs, offering unwavering care, patience, and love. Every sacrifice she made was rooted in her commitment to her children’s well-being and future.

Rose pursued nursing school, driven by her natural instinct to care for others, but ultimately chose a different path. She later worked in customer service, where her kindness, empathy, and steady presence left a lasting impression on those she served. She worked until physical pain made it no longer possible.

In 2018, Rose faced breast cancer with quiet strength and determination. After nearly five years cancer-free, the disease returned aggressively, spreading to her bones, lungs, and liver. Even then, she fought with remarkable courage until her body could no longer continue the battle.

Throughout her life, Rose was a safe place—not only for her own children, but for many others who found comfort, acceptance, and warmth in her presence. She was a trusted friend, a steady listener, and a source of unconditional love. Her home and her heart were always open.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia (Duffy) Wilson and Clarence Wilson; her stepfather, Jack Layton; and her brother, Brian Wilson.

She is survived by her ten children: Gregory Krueger; Teresa (Tommy) Fenwick; Katie Glen; Thomas (Katie) Glen; Richard Glen; and Laura Glen; along with nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many siblings, extended family members, and friends who will carry her love forward.

Rose’s legacy is one of selfless devotion, quiet strength, and profound compassion. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
