Stephen Wheeler Stack, aged 77, passed away unexpectantly on February 10, 2026.
He was a loving husband to Janet, father of Sarah, grandfather of grandchildren, Thaydon and Ciera. He was preceded in death by his mother Ann and father Timothy, sisters Nancy, Anne and brother Timothy.
He was a graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in sports medicine.
His love was baseball, anyone knowing him was very aware that he was a fan of the Atlanta Braves. He knew all the players’ names and stats. At Arizona State he played baseball and was a pitcher. To be a pitcher with a major league was his dream.
Steve went on to manage several large building and department stores.
Stephen and Janet have traveled all over the world marveling at the beauty of Spain, Italy, Malta and many other countries.
He was a volunteer at Viera Hospital for eight years, after retirement, mostly greeting visitors at the entrance doors and directing them to their destination.
Thank you for celebrating his life, remember him as a fun-loving person who enjoyed life.
