Mrs. Barbara J Rosmarino, 85, beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away on February 11, 2026, following a brief illness.
Barbara was born on February 17,1939. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Marian Fisher Mansfield. A lifelong resident of Gloversville, Barbara graduated from Gloversville High School in 1958.
Barbara was a homemaker and a Registered Nurse. She worked and retired from The Lexington Center. She was a proud member of the local chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution. She greatly enjoyed local history and genealogy.
Barbara was proud of all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was married for 44 years to Louis Rosmarino before his passing in 2004. She loved hosting family gatherings and was an amazing cook. She will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her daughter DeAnn Rosmarino, and her sister Patricia Ruggeri. She is survived by her son Dean Rosmarino (Yolanda), Grandchildren Nicolas Rosmarino, Gabriel Rosmarino (Kendall) of Phenix City, Alabama, Gillian Rosmarino, and Alexander Rosmarino, 2 great granddaughters, Quinn and Catalina. Sister-in-laws Josephine Rosmarino, Pauline Brickner, and several nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Barbara's name may be made to the DeAnn Rosmarino Scholarship Fund C/O Greater Amsterdam School District, 140 Saratoga Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010
A graveside service will take place later this spring at a date to be announced.
