Glenda (Gee) Lee Heath was born May 30, 1936 to Gladys and William Powell in Woodland, Washington. She passed away January 26, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband James Leroy Heath.
Glenda graduated from Rainier High School in 1954 and later moved to the Eugene area where she worked as a teacher’s aide with Eugene School District 4J. She was a natural educator, patient and encouraging and she took pride in helping children grow and succeed.
Glenda’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her three children Kimberly Posey, Joni McCain and David Honstein as well as her four grandchildren Courtney (Tony) Posey-Pullen, Ashley(Ian) Telge, Nicole (Shane) Joli and Morgan McCain. She also has four great-grandchildren Penelope and Hayden Pullen, Eloise and Hunter Telge. Glenda also is survived by her half brother William Michael Powell.
Glenda loved everyone. She adored her grandchildren, cheered faithfully for the Oregon Ducks and never missed a chance to talk with those around her. Her strong faith in God guided her life and her little companion Lexi held a very special place in her heart.
She will be remembered for her warmth, her lively spirit and the way she made everyone feel special. A memorial service will be held at Lakeridge Estates clubhouse 3355 N. Delta Hwy at 1 pm on Sunday March 1. You are invited to sign the guestbook at musgroves.com and in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in her memory
