Born in paso Robles to Frank Munoz and Frances Alvarez, Mrs. Dayhuff was the eldest of three sisters, Margaret (deceased) and Ruth Sulva, San Luis Obispo. Mrs. Dayhuff was employed for a number of years with army and Air Force Exchange Service at Fort Ord. Prior to permanently living on the Monterey Peninsula, Mrs. Dayhuff lived in various states and overseas throughout her life, with her husband George R. Dayhuff (deceased 1982) who served his country in the United States Army.
She is survived by her daughter Anna McGonis (James), predeceased February 4, 2019, by her eldest son Richard Aguilar, Katherine Kelly (Dennis), George Dayhuff (Valerie), Lola Gill, and Harry Dayhuff (Deanne). She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age and followed Him throughout her life. We rejoice that we will meet her again for eternity with Jesus. Nana was an incredible woman with a zest for life and an infectious laugh.
