Delia Ann Bolia, a devoted matriarch known for her tireless work ethic and loving spirit, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, surrounded by her cherished family. She was 78 years old.
Born on April 2, 1947, to Harrison L. and Patricia Ann Martin, Delia's early life was marked by her incredible dedication to her family. As one of twelve children, she played a significant role in raising her twelve siblings, a testament to her nurturing nature and strength of character. This profound sense of responsibility and care for others continued throughout her life.
Delia was a woman of remarkable perseverance, retiring from five different jobs over the years. Her commitment to hard work was matched by her zest for life and her passions. She found joy in the thrill of auctions and garage sales, delighting in the hunt for unique treasures and collecting antiques. Trips to the casino were another favorite pastime, where she embraced the excitement and camaraderie.
Above all, Delia's greatest joy came from her family. She instilled in them a legacy of love, resilience, and compassion.
Delia is survived by her four loving children: Marlene Mango (George Rossi), Robert Mango (Marcy), Michelle Couball (Robert), and Shirlee Richtmyer (John); grandchildren: Michelle, Steven, Amanda, Robert Jr., Deanna, Brittany, Dylan, Amber, Aaron, Jacob, Samanthanne, Hanna, and Emmy, along with 21 adored great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five of her siblings and many other devoted family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harrison L. and Patricia Ann Martin; her beloved husband, William J. Bolia; seven of her siblings; and her former husband, Robert Mango, Sr.
A celebration of Delia’s remarkable life will be held on February 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM at 201 Reed Hill Road Fultonville, NY.
