Patty Ann Kiser passed away on Tuesday, February 10th at home after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her family.
She was born May 29,1951, along with her twin sister Penny to Robert A Johnson and Ruth L Dillon Johnson in Van Nuys, California. The family moved to Weiser Idaho when she was young and eventually settled in Caldwell Idaho. Patty attended Caldwell high school where she made many lifelong friends. She enjoyed swimming; she was on the Junior Olympic team here in Idaho and became a lifeguard at the Caldwell Pool.
In 1971 she met the love of her life and best friend Robert (Bob) Kiser when he was an attendant at a gas station. They married on Nov 23, 1971, moving to Middleton, Idaho to begin their life together. Raising two children, Rob and Renee. Patty enjoyed watching her children play sports and cheering for them with Bob by her side. They had the dream to travel when they retired and fulfilled that dream for many years. They became “snowbirds” and began to meet and make many new friends in Arizona. She loved to play slot machines and one of her favorite casinos was in Laughlin, NV. Patty always seemed to never meet a stranger along the way and touched many lives. She loved her life and had many adventures with Bob on their 54-year journey.
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me
Please try to understand
That an Angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand;
The Angel said my place was ready,
In Heaven far above,
And that I’d have to leave behind
All those I dearly loved
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry
The way you did today…
While thinking of the many things
We did get to say
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you…
When I walked through Heaven’s Gates,
I felt so much at home,
For God looked down, smiled at me
And told me “Welcome Home.”
So, When tomorrow starts without me,
Don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me
I’m right here in your heart.
She is survived by best friend/loving husband Robert (Bob) Kiser. Her son Robert (Rob) Kiser, her beloved daughter in law Shelly Kiser, her daughter Renee Kiser Johnson and favorite son-in-law Jayson Johnson. Her grandchildren Katee, Hailee (Nathaniel) Rodriguez, Callee, and Jerry. Along with two step-grandsons Zac and Zayden. And one great-granddaughter Penelope.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth Johnson, her twin sister Penny Sower, her brothers Ralph and Rick, her brother-in- law, Jerry Kiser, and her granddaughter Miss Colleen.
