Cathy Barcelles-Kolb, 73, of Washington Township, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home with family on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Legacy
Cathy was a committed wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother & loving great grandmother. She leaves behind a legacy of wit, commitment, courage and love.
Cathy was born in Champaign, Illinois, and moved to other states including, Massachusetts. She had deep love for Chicago Bears and the Patriots (aka Tom Brady). In her late teens/early twenties, Cathy would spend her free time going dancing and enjoyed going to concerts. She also deeply enjoyed listening to John Lennon, Fleetwood Mac and Hall and Oates. Cathy worked at the USPS for 36 years and was dedicated to being independent. Her dedication didn’t stop her from weekend trips to Atlantic City Casinos!
Family
She was the beloved wife of Edward Kolb. Loving sister of late Louis Barcelles and Cindy Barcelles. Cherished mother of Dawn Wileczek (Agustin) & step-mother of Gregory Kolb (Courtney). Devoted grandmother of Danielle Collins (Joseph) and Taylor Wileczek & step-grandmother of Parker and Carson. Adored great-grandmother of Adriana, Christian, Brooklyn (deceased) and Oaklyn. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Sunday, February 22nd from 10:00AM to 12:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home- (Woodbury Location), 34 Hunter Street Woodbury New Jersey, 08096. Words of Remembrance will begin at 12:00PM. Interment will be private.
