Phillip Anthony Sotello, aged 31, passed away February 16th 2026, at home surrounded by his immediate family. Phillip was born in Portland, Oregon, July 9th, 1994. He is survived by his parents, Elizabeth and John Valdez, and Daniel Sotello; and his siblings: Anais, Roman, Gabrielle, John Michael, Matthew, Bradley, and Isaiah.
Phillip spent most of his life in San Diego, California and the last five years in Tucson, Arizona. Phillip had a deep love for people - everyone he met he considered a friend. He loved cars, and any kind of car show. His love and kindness leaves the most beautiful impression on all of the lives he touched. Phillip never let his disabilities stop him from wanting to change the world, he would have given anyone the shirt off his back if they asked. He enjoyed helping with anything he could, he loved working in the garage with his dad.
Phillip’s celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 28th at Adair Funeral Chapel, in Tucson Arizona at 12 PM followed by a gathering at his parents house. Thank you for loving our Phillip during his incredible life, we entrust him with our lord now, and we know that he is walking and singing in heaven.
