Born in Waterloo, Iowa, Nancy was raised in Oregon where she met Peter whom she married in 1956. They started out in Sellwood and began having children, Mark, Peggy, Michael and Todd.  

While having and raising kids, Nancy kept busy moving following Pete's career in the emerging computer industry. They moved from Oregon to Scottsdale, Los Altos, New York, and New Barnet, before settling for awhile in Pacific Palisades in 1966.  

In the early 70's, while championing paramedic coverage for the Palisades, she met governor, Ronald Reagan, later attending the inauguration ball in DC.  Nancy founded a ranch in Arizona for the handicapped and helped develop LARC ranch in Saugus, CA.   

A love of travel took Peter and Nancy all over the world with trips down the Amazon, hot air ballooning through France, safaris in Africa, camel rides in Egypt, and many other adventures. Nancy desired the most from life, always pursuing a better home, a better school, better care for the handicapped, the best seat at every restaurant, a new experience, a better life.  

Nancy leaves behind her sons, Mark and Mike, and was predeceased by her husband, Peter, and her children, Peggy and Todd.  She is placed with her husband at the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
