Jerry C. Francesco, 79, of Mount Royal, New Jersey, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Legacy
A proud Vietnam veteran, a devoted family man, and loyal friend, Jerry’s strength, work ethic, and deep love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.
Jerry served during the Vietnam War and carried his sense of duty and quiet courage with him throughout his life. His service to his country was a source of deep pride, and he exemplified the values of loyalty and perseverance long after his time in uniform.
Following his military service, he dedicated 40 years of hard work as a boilermaker. He was known for his reliability, craftsmanship, and the respect he earned from his coworkers. He believed in earning an honest living and took great pride in providing for his family.
Beyond his work, Jerry embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved to travel, always ready for the next road trip or adventure. He had a special appreciation for cars, especially fast ones—and enjoyed talking about them as much as driving them. Whether it was admiring a classic model or feeling the power of a well-tuned engine, cars brought him joy.
At heart, he was a family man. Nothing mattered more to him than his children and grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent with them—whether it was sharing stories, sneaking away for a burger and fries, or enjoying a night out at the movies. His love was steady, generous, and unwavering.
He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures: his favorite fast-food meal, a good film on the big screen, and time spent surrounded by those he loved most.
Family
He is the beloved companion of Deborah “Debbie” Vasopolli; his devoted children, Anthony Francesco, Lisa Taylor and Carol Francesco; cherished grandchildren, Victoria, Anthony Jr., Sarah, Georgie, JJ and Francesca. He is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.

Our beautiful funeral home in Woodbury was originally built in the late 1700s, and has since been rebuilt to honor its original charm and comfortable, warm feel. Once you walk through our doors, you become family....
