**Obituary for Vicky Lynn Parmenter (née Arpe)**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vicky Lynn Parmenter, born on January 21, 1958, in Fairfax, VA, who left us on February 11, 2026, in Largo, FL. Vicky was a beacon of kindness and selflessness, known for her unwavering generosity and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.

Vicky’s journey through education saw her earn her G.E.D. from George C. Marshall High School in Falls Church, VA. She then embarked on a diverse career that included working for several well-known organizations, such as Best Products, Lionel Kiddie City, Toys R' Us, A Dollar That's All Folks, and Northrop Grumman Corporation. Each job was an opportunity for Vicky to connect with others, and she did so with her trademark energy and enthusiasm.

She had an incredible gift for putting others first, often sacrificing her own comfort and well-being for those she loved. Vicky’s caring nature extended beyond her family; it was something she shared with everyone she met.

Family was the cornerstone of Vicky's life. She is survived by her cherished son, Robert Parenteau, and her beloved nephew, Joshua Lee. She also had a special bond with her sister-in-law, Karin Arpe, and together they created countless memories that will be treasured forever. Vicky's heart was indeed monumental—it embraced not just her family but all those fortunate to know her.

In her leisure time, Vicky loved immersing herself in rock and roll and country music, filling her home with the sounds that made her spirit soar. She enjoyed watching movies and television, and there was nothing better than spending time with her family, especially with her twin sister, whom she adored.

In accordance with Vicky's wishes, there will not be a funeral service. A private cremation has already taken place under the care of A Life Tribute Funeral Home. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, reflecting Vicky’s compassionate nature and desire to help others.

As her epitaph beautifully states, "Your mother is with you always, first in her lifetime, then in your memory forever." Vicky's spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy of love and kindness will live on in our hearts.
