It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jane Malone Gordon, who departed this life on February 23, 2026, at the age of 92, in Warner Robins, Georgia. Born on January 19, 1934, in Wayside, Georgia, Jane was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, whose love and dedication to her family will forever be cherished.

Jane was the devoted mother to her four daughters: Eleanor (Gary) Dolan, Elaine (Doug) Montgomery, Denise (David) Hardy, and Deanna (Dennis) Craig. She was also a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren: Kelly (Brian) Fitzgerald, Cristin (Corey) Gillis, Caitlin (Curtis) Stairs, Erin Dolan, Amy (Russell) Burns, Kyle (Randi) Montgomery, Nancy (Michael) Sweeney, Brandon (Suzanne) Hardy, Brock (Shauna) Hardy, Jeffery Craig and Shannon Daniel. In addition, she took great joy in her role as a great-grandmother to twenty great-grandchildren. Jane is survived by her sister, Edna Malone, her sister-in-laws: Sandra (Don) Rooks and Jean Gordon and a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Lillian Malone; grandson, Donny Rape; twin sister, Jean Hopkins; brothers: Frank Malone and Marvin Malone; and sister, Peggy Fowler.

Jane's legacy is enriched by her active involvement in her community and faith. A devoted homemaker, she was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Warner Robins since 1963, where she participated in the GLOWW Ladies Sunday School Class, a leader in the Keenagers Group and even taught first-grade Sunday School, passing down her wisdom and nurturing spirit to the younger generations. She proudly held memberships in the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy, reflecting her dedication to her heritage and family history.   A woman of great creativity, Jane loved to sew, crochet, and craft, hobbies that allowed her to express her artistic side and create treasured gifts for her loved ones. She also had a keen interest in genealogy, cherishing her family roots and the stories that defined them.

A funeral service to celebrate Jane's life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Warner Robins on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM, with family receiving friends one hour prior, beginning at 12:00 PM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, John E. Gordon, at Gordon Cemetery in Jones County, Georgia.   As we remember Jane, we honor her steadfast love, her nurturing spirit, and the joyful legacy she leaves behind in all those she touched. May her memory continue to inspire and bring comfort to her family and friends.
