Dolores Ethel Wolfe, 92, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on February 12, 2026, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Dolores was born on April 24, 1933, to Charles Morton Wolfe and Ina Pearl Wolfe in Somerville, Massachusetts. She grew up in Somerville, Massachusetts, graduating from Somerville High School in 1951. She went on to marry John B. Kasa in 1955 and had three boys.
Dolores was a homemaker while raising her boys. She went on to work for Raytheon for many years. She contributed to manufacturing and assembling of the Patriot Missile which was used in scud missile defense during the Iraqi War. After leaving Raytheon, she worked for Century 21. She always had an interest in Real Estate, she invested in a few properties and enjoyed going to Real Estate seminars. She also was her mother’s caregiver for many years. She loved traveling to see her sons and their families. Her grandsons would travel to North Reading during the summer to visit with her.
Dolores enjoyed cooking, sewing, and making her Paula Dean BBQ Meatloaf! (It was always delicious). She made Power Ranger costumes for her young grandsons one year; they were very excited to wear them. She also enjoyed Crafts; she would purchase craft items from Flea Markets and disassemble them so she would have a pattern to make her own. She was very attentive to detail.
Dolores moved to Colorado Springs around 2007, to be closer to family. Here she invested in a couple of real estate properties and enjoyed being near family and making friends. She had an infectious laugh and was fun to be around. She spent her last three in a half years at Springs Ranch Memory Care. Dolores enjoyed getting visits from her family and friends. She especially loved seeing her little great-grand baby, and her great-great-grand babies Vera, Ruby and Lizzy, she loved her babies!
She participated in many of their daily activities; Bingo, Bowling, Trivia, listened to music, painting and crafts, and baking. Dolores loved the people there, staff and residence. She was loved and well cared for.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Ina Pearl Wolfe; father, Charles Morton Wolfe; spouse, John B. Kasa; and her brothers, Morton Alan Wolfe and Douglas E. Wolfe.
Dolores is survived by her sons and their spouses, David A. Kasa (Anita), Lawrence J. Kasa (Maureen), and Wayne D. Kasa (Cindy); grandchildren, Hiedi Rowberry, Sean Kasa, Nick and Isabella Kasa.; great-grandchildren, Haily Kasa, Richard McGraw, Darci Rowberry, Kayla Kasa, and Vera Kasa; great-great-grandchildren, Ruby McGraw, and Lizzy Dewey.
