Sharon Lee Nix (Jerry), of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 82.
She was born in Flint Michigan, on December 11, 1943.
She had a great sense of humor and was very kind and compassionate. Her children were her pride and joy and she would do anything for them. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered for her warmth, laughter and unconditional love.
Jerry was preceded in death by her husband, David Nix, and four of her 5 siblings, Noreen Parker, Jeanine Lutz, William Hill, and Peggy Flake. She leaves behind one sister, Janet Southern, five children, Rex Blanchard, Rodney Blanchard, Tracy Blanchard, Robert Nix, David Nix, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
She loved throwing pottery on the wheel, painting ceramics, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held by the family on Sunday, March 1, 2026 starting at 2 PM at her home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the American Heart Association.
