My most wonderful wife Marlene of 68 years passed away on Thursday February 19, 2026 from heart failure. She was born in the Wilshire District of Southern California. She later located to Baldwin Park California where she went to Baldwin Park High school. It was there where she met Bob who subsequently became her husband. There were three sons, David A. Jaquess, Neal E. Jaquess with wife Karen Painter-Jaquess, Jon C. Jaquess and Grandson Hunter J. Nieto-Jaquess. David passed away in 2024 from cancer. She became a Cub Scout Den Mother and the President of the Parent Teacher Association at the grade school where the sons attended. She had an Associates of Art Degree in Liberal Arts from Mt. San Antonia Jr. College. Later when the sons were grown, she became manager of the Mole Hole an Upscale Boutique and Gift Shop in South Glen Mall. She was a founding member of a book club that was an extension of her extensive reading pursuits. She was a very devoted companion, wife, mother, and grandmother. She did not want any memorial service.
