Con profundo dolor, la familia Marquez informa el fallecimiento inesperado de Martha Marquez, ocurrido la noche del 19 de febrero de 2026, a la edad de 62 años.
La precediere su única hija Kristella Márquez; tres hermanos María Iris Márquez, Gaspar Márquez y Dorinda Melgoza; siete sobrinos y sobrinas: Juan Amado Delgado, Sarah D. Macias, Octavio Melgoza, Amanda Pérez-Márquez, Gaspar Márquez Jr., Ariana C. Márquez, Yesenia Melgoza y familia extendida Márquez va extrañar la profundamente. Martha era una person privada los pocos preferidos de familia y amigos que tuvieron una relación con ella eran afortunados.
Martha fue una persona reservada, pero quienes tuvieron el privilegio de formar parte de su vida saben cuán afortunados fueron de compartir su camino. Su fortaleza y su lealtad hacia quienes amaba dejan un legado imborrable.
La familia agradece a todos quienes han expresado sus condolencias y cariño en estos momentos difíciles.

It is with a heavy heart the unexpected passing of Martha Márquez at the age 62yrs on the evening of February 19th, 2026. She is survived by her only child Kristella Márquez; her three Sibling; Maria Iris Márquez, Gaspar Márquez, and Dorinda Melgoza; sevennephews and nieces: Juan Amado Delgado, Sarah D. Macias, Octavio Melgoza, Amanda Pérez-Márquez, Gaspar Márquez Jr, Ariana C. Márquez, Yesenia Melgoza and extended family will miss her deeply. Martha was a private person those few family and friends chosen to have a relationship with her were fortunate.
A viewing will be held for Martha on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 4pm-8pm with a Rosary Prayer Service at 6pm at Healey Mortuary Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be Saturday, March 7th at 1pm at Sacred Heart Church in Salinas.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
