In Loving Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father, Thomas Haddad, who left us peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on February 26, 2026, at the age of 71. He was born in El Paso, TX, on August 23, 1951, and later moved to Columbia, SC, to assist his father in operating the family business, where he discovered his joy for cooking. Tom managed his family business in SC, The Pizza Factory, for several years. Later, he went on to work at House of Rayford as a shipping and logistics manager for more than two decades. Most recently, Tom was retired and enjoying family life in Lexington, SC.
Tom was a dedicated husband to Sharon, his loving wife of almost 50 years; a proud father to his two daughters, Laressa and Erica; a cherished father-in-law to Todd; and a loving Papa to Haylee, Kadynce, Alex, and Bennett. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his son, Austin, and four of his five siblings: Sue, Steve, Anne, and Linda. He is survived by his youngest brother, Jim.
A man of quiet strength and resilience, he devoted his life to his family. He taught us the value of hard work, the beauty of simple joys, and the power of unconditional love. His wisdom, laughter, and unwavering love will remain in our hearts forever.
Dad, we will miss you immensely. You were our “go-to” when life got rough, our sanity in this crazy world, and our comfort when we needed clarity. You were always someone we could count on, and although you were a straight shooter, you always got your point across without judgment. You provided sound advice and made sure we made our decisions after thinking things through. Because of you, we have the hearts of lions, a deep love for our family, and an insane work ethic. We thank you, Dad, for all the laughs, the wise words of advice, the love you gave us, and the beautiful lives we've lived because of you and your hard work. We are all better people because of you. We will forever keep you in our hearts with God.
Recently retired, Tom was able to enjoy his passion for golf. In honor of that passion, we invite you to wear a golf shirt when attending the service at Thompson's Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Rd., Lexington, SC 29073, on March 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
