Jerry Lee Carpenter, 60, widow of Nancy Carpenter, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Owenton on May 24, 1965 to Wendell Carpenter and the late Ruth
Miller Carpenter.
Jerry loved being outdoors, farming, fishing, shooting or riding his motorcycle, four-wheeler, or dirt bike.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Debbie Mays (Mark); his brothers, Gary Carpenter (Effie) and Donnie Carpenter; his daughters, Ashley Hellard (John), Amanda Ridgeway (Bobby), and Tiffany Hardin (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Timothy, Jordan, Waylon, McKenzie, Stella, Mason, and Charlie; and his pet poodle, Cotton.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Lewis Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
