Alex Brunache passed away after a life defined by service, dedication, and loyalty. He was residing in Monument and built a life rooted in hard work, friendship, and honor. Alex proudly served in the United States Army for nine and a half years, from February 24, 2015, to January 12, 2025. As a Transportation Management Coordinator and Movements NCO, he exemplified the highest standards of a Non-Commissioned Officer. He was a dedicated leader who cared deeply for his soldiers, always looking out for the well-being of those under his charge. His integrity, strength, and commitment to duty reflected the very best of the United States military, and his service to the nation will forever be honored. Following his military career, Alex worked as a logistics specialist and contractor with Sierra Nevada Corporation in Denver. In this role, he oversaw production teams and ensured they had the materials and tools necessary to build aircraft successfully. His leadership and expertise continued to make an impact long after he hung up his uniform.

Outside of work, Alex found joy in the simple but meaningful moments of life. He loved spending time with friends, playing video games, drawing, traveling throughout Europe and across Colorado, and taking pride in his beloved Audi. He lived fully and cherished the connections he built along the way. He is survived by his ‘besties’ Mary Lapp and Ainseley Pappas, his cherished best friends, and by all of his brothers and sisters in military service who stood beside him in uniform and shared in the bonds of duty, sacrifice, and unwavering loyalty. Though many of their names are too numerous to list, each held a special place in his life, and the brotherhood and sisterhood they formed will forever remain unbroken. A burial service with military honors will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on March 5, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of other tributes, flowers may be sent to All Vets Funeral Home & Cremation, 1020 E Fillmore St, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. Staff Sergeant Brunache’s legacy of service, leadership, and friendship will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.
