It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” Lind, age 78, of Venice, Florida on February 18, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy. Chuck is survived by his wife, Susan Roberts Lind; a sister, Betty; sister-in-law, Karren Esser and husband Daniel; a brother-in-law, Ted Roberts and his fiancé Kim Miller. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews as well as many wonderful neighbors and friends.
Chuck was passionate about aviation. He also enjoyed watching YouTube and was an avid fan of Formula 1 racing. He liked to cook and experiment with various barbeque recipes.
He shared his wicked sense of humor with daily texts to Fred. It seemed they tried to one up each other with the jokes. It always made him smile.
He truly loved working for Lloyd at Venice Storage and enjoyed the camaraderie with the ladies who worked at Southern Spring.
At Chuck’s request, no services will be held. He will be missed greatly but not forgotten.
