Tammy Marie Medina
January 16th, 1970 - August 9th, 2020
Tammy Medina passed peacefully in her sleep on August 9th, 2020. She was born on January 16th, 1970 to a loving family in Denver, Colorado. At the young age of 17 she attended JobCorp in Grand Junction where she met Dean Shelton, her first husband, and had a baby girl named Deannette Medina. She traveled to Colorado Springs shortly after graduation which she then called home and had their son Steven Shelton 5 years later. 13 years ago, she met Richie Sanchez, her current husband, who loved and supported her till this day and forever more. She was not only just a mother and a wife but also a great Aunt, Sister, Mother figure, Dog Mom and friend to all. To her everyone was family. Tammy had been through a lot in her lifetime, but she still saw life as a party. She was always supportive and told you how it was, even if you didnt want to hear it. She was proud of many things and always wanted the best for everyone. She is the strongest person anyone ever knew. A true Bad-Ass, which I called her before any surgery. She will be missed by all, but her strength is still alive in all of us! Ill love you forever, Ill like you for always As long as Im living my Mommy youll be.
