Randall “Randy” Eugene McGrath, 61, of Mountain Home passed away June 24, 2019, surrounded by his mother and sons. Randy was born November 25, 1957 in Mountain Home, to Paul and Darlene McGrath. He was their only child and extremely treasured. Randy was a man who loved his family and friends. He lived for a good laugh and telling a “mostly” true story. He will be remembered for his unforgettable laugh and always having a saying to fit the situation. Randy was happiest working on vehicles and motorcycles, watching NASCAR, and seeing his son Randy race dirt bikes. He was extremely proud of both of his sons. He is survived by his mother, Darlene, his sons Ryan (Abbie) and Randy McGrath and three granddaughters; Goldie, Poppy and Kynlee McGrath of Mountain Home. He was preceded in death by his father Paul McGrath. A celebration of life was held in Randy’s honor and was attended by many friends and family members. It was just how he would have liked to be remembered, a lot of laughter, stories and Coors Light. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Jerry’s career began more than fifty years ago in Boise, and along the way, he acquired an 1897 horse-drawn funeral carriage, which we proudly display in our facility....
