Samantha M. Ruiz, age 30, of mountain home, passed away on July 26, 2020. A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel followed by a burial where Samantha was laid to rest beside her daughter Aylin Ruiz at Mountain View Cemetery. A vigil was also held on August 8, 2020 at Carl Miller Park, bring awareness to domestic violence in the community. Samantha was born on March 5, 1990 in Harlingen, Texas to Samuel Perales Martinez and Maria Soledad Hernandez. Samantha was a loving, caring sister and mother. She loved to play tennis, dance and running on the track. Samantha is survived by her three children Ervity, age 12, Ezra, age 4 and Elliott, age 2; her mother Maria Soledad Hernandez and father Samuel Perales Martinez all of Mountain Home; two sisters Stephanie and husband Victor Reyes and Sabrina Martinez and two brothers Sebastian Martinez and Saul Martinez all of Boise. Samantha is preceded in death by her daughter Aylin Ruiz.
