Erasmo Chaves “Eddie” age 65, passed August 6, 2020 at his home in Caldwell, Idaho he was born in Nyssa, Oregon on August 3, 1955 to Enrique Sr. and Marie Chaves. He grew up in Wilder, Idaho working his way up in the farming, trucking, and salesmen industry. He became a hardworking and loving family man. He always made an imprint everywhere he went with everyone he met. He touched so many people’s hearts with his kind, loving soul, and his compassionate personality. He was loved by many and his wife Marie E. Vasquez of 38 years. His family and friends will cherish the time they had together and look forward to carrying on his unfinished journey with their families. They will take everything they learned along the way until we are together again in heaven. Erasmo will be missed. He is survived by his parents Enrique and Maria Chaves; siblings Enrique (Rosie) Chaves Jr, Eloy Chaves Sr, Sylvia Chaves Betancourt, Lydia Chaves, Rachel Chaves (Matt) Chapa, Janie C Garcia (John); his loving children Marie Chaves (Adam) Montemayor, Isaac (Amanda) Chaves, Daniel Stansell Sr, Jason Chaves, Michael Chaves, Rick Kivett, Sara Chaves Parris, Rebecca Chaves Freeman, Israel Vasquez, Frankie Vasquez, Jessica Gomez, numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Eddie was preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents, grandson Damian Montemayor and niece Priscilla. Viewing will be held at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell, Idaho on Thursday August 13, 2020 from 5-8:00 pm. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, Idaho at 10:00 am.
