Jesus “Chuy” Castellanos was born December 25, 1939 in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico to Guillermo Castellanos Vargas and Leonor Guzman. He married the love of his life, Maria del Carmen Montano. They had seven children; Juan, Carmen Adnanna, Alvaro, Petra Evella, Estela, Jorge and Oscar; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Sadly his wife preceded him in death in 2017. Chuy loved talking about his wife, dancing, singing, gardening, peanuts, coke, gum, homemade tortillas, talking on the phone and his favorite saying was, “Ay carbon!” He passed away peacefully with his family at his side on November 10, 2022. Viewing with Rosary will be 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Funeral Mass will be 10 am Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with burial following at Wilder Cemetery.
