ERICK JON BRIDGES ANYONE blessed enough to have spent time with Erick would agree that he wore his compassionate heart on his sleeve. With a kind soul wise beyond his 22 years, he loved openly and wholeheartedly and forgave easily. Erick overcame many obstacles in his short time, but with his jovial attitude towards life, one would have never known. Always making the best out of any situation for himself, he was more intent on guiding and helping those around him. Above all else, Erick saw the importance in family. Even being the youngest, he was fiercely protective of and always tried to care for his loved ones. Erick was passionate about many things in life. He loved the Green Bay Packers, motorcycles and music, but his greatest love of all was for baseball. Erick was able to find joy in even the smallest of things, yet no one had seen him happier than the day that he found Christina Brown. Their effortless connection quickly turned into an inseparable love for one another. On November 25th 2012 Erick proposed to Christina on home plate at Udall Park, explaining to her that this was the “end of one love and the beginning of another”. Erick’s lifelong passion for baseball had been replaced by a deep love for Christina & overwhelming excitement about sharing the rest of their lives together. Being as family oriented as he was, Erick and Christina were enthusiastic and wanted nothing more than to start a family of their very own. Although Erick was torn away from us tragically and much too soon, he would want us to celebrate the moments we shared and the memories made.
