Darrell "Jake" Jacobson Born, August 12, 1940 in Gooding, Idaho and passed away November 23, 2012. Upon graduating from high school in 1958 Jake proudly served his country in the US Army. In 1965 he began his career in law enforcement with the Riverside County Sheriff's Dept. in California. He retired as a Detective in 1985 and moved to Ohio 1987. In 1988 he joined the Portage Sheriff's Dept. and retired in Tucson, AZ in 2000. He met many people on his journey and made an impact on everyone he knew. He was loved by all and will be missed dearly. Survived by his children, Kathy (Jim), Kurt and Kim (Bill); five grandchildren, Erik, Mackenzie, Alexa, Meagan and Camron and his loyal dog, Shiloh. Preceded in death by his son, Erik (1984) and his wife, Judy (2008). Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012 with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
