Alfredo C. Ramirez
April 21st, 1946 - August 31st, 2012
Alfredo C. Ramirez M.D. 66 passed away after an extended hospital stay on August 31, 2012. Dr. Ramirez was born in Los Angeles to Ramo and Lily Ramirez. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Alice; his son Edward, currently teaching at Hebei University in China; his daughter Christina Holly Justice (Kyle); six wonderful grandchildren; several cousins in Tucson and family in California. Dr. Ramirez dedicated his life to the service of others through his extensive military service and his work as a doctor. LTC Ramirez left the military in 1998 after serving as an enlisted medic in Vietnam and later as a military doctor. In his later years he enjoyed his practice in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Tucson, finishing his career working at La Frontera. A gathering of friends will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, with military honors opening the gathering promptly at 4:00 p.m. a memorial Mass will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 9:00 AM at St. Rita in the Desert, 13260 E. Colossal Cave Road.
