Elsie Hill
January 2nd, 1921 - January 7th, 2022
HILL, Elsie N. 101, was born New Jersey, died on January 7, 2022. She was a veteran of the WAC's during WII. She was married to Ralph E. Hill in 1943 and traveled extensively during 30 years of Army life. Elsie moved to Tucson in 1961, when her husband was stationed at Ft. Huachuca. She worked in the medical arena in various office positions, volunteered for ten years with the Red Cross, and spent 34 years as an active member of the TMC Auxiliary. She began tennis in her 60's, and continued into her late 80's. She was also an avid bridge player. Predeceased by her husband, Lt. Col. Ralph E Hill; sons, George (Martha), Ross (Jane), Ted Alan and grandson, Patrick. She is survived by two granddaughters, Leslee Hill of Reno, NV and Tracy Hill of Tucson, AZ, also many nieces and nephews. Service to be held at Streams in the Desert Lutheran Church, East Pima, Tucson, AZ on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Donations to Mayo Foundation: Cancer Research, Department of Development, 13400 East Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85259, or charity of choice. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
